Le Motion Club - Event teaser

In today's hyper-connected world, we often overlook the value of meeting people in person. With my friend Ulysse Luque at studio Bumo, we felt compelled to bridge that gap and bring together talented individuals right here in our hometown of Toulouse.

That’s why we started Le Motion Club: a creative social club designed to foster a thriving community based on sharing and genuine friendships.

On May 14, 2022, we had the incredible privilege of hosting the 4th edition of Motion Club in a remarkable theater, as part of Figuré.e, a graphic design festival organized by the Collectif Pépite. The event featured a series of conferences by various creative professionals in the vibrant surroundings of Toulouse.

Since the venue was truly special, we knew we had to create a teaser that did it justice.

We began conceptualizing our approach around the notion of motion design, focusing on the dynamic interplay of visuals.

Initially, we contemplated a cohesive and stable narrative, but soon pivoted towards a more lighthearted and playful approach.

In the making of the video, we went through a lot of research, making plenty of concepts and visuals, many of which didn't make it into the final project.

I worked on weaving the storytelling and titles, bringing together a bunch of playful ideas to turn the teaser into a lively display of motion design. Meanwhile, my buddy Ulysse focused on the spaceship part, putting a fabulous finishing touch to the teaser.
